As you may or may not be aware, I am humbly studying to become a librarian. As such, I am studying a unit in children and youth’s librarianship at this time. A core component is professional development, to be recorded as a blog. There will be four acts of professional development, focused on each of the areas of:

1. Censorship
2. Diversity
3. Young people’s book awards
4. Digital materials/resources and emerging technologies
